Ah, But Honesty Can Paint a Pretty Picture...

I'm definitely feeling better.

Church last night was exactly what I needed to hear.

It was all about
Repentance
Change
Discipleship
Then I had a dream last night.   I was saying "no," making sure the subject of my dream understood I meant “No!”   And I was tying my walking shoes in preparation for a journey.

I believe some dreams have significance,
and I believe this one did.

I know there are plenty of folks who will not agree with what I am saying.   Some of these people are having great success in the weight loss battle.   However, I see a lot more struggle than I do success EVERYwhere I look.   I believe what the Bible says, and it tells me that He (God) executes justice for the oppressed and freedom for the prisoner.   Further, the Bible says that His yoke is easy, and His burden light.     *IF* I could have done this, I would have already succeeded.

I believe in Truth.
I believe in Freedom.
True Freedom.
Free indeed.

The Best Is Yet To Come!

  1. I think you are on to something; two things you mentioned here (journey and yoke) were in my Bible readings/church time this week. Interesting. I need to begin my day (read Bible, pray, eat, etc) before I start my work day, but I'll definitely be back with some thoughts either here or in a separate email. Hopefully I'll get it together tonight but if not it might have to wait until this weekend.

I am glad you are feeling better and you went to church last night! God is working in your life; don't forget it!!!!

  3. Oh! I loved the little pig's logic. How many time I have examined and assessed and thought my way through the clues to end up just like that little pig--totally convinced of the wrong cause of my problem.

A little wince, but a big chuckle, too.

  4. Never a fan of celery, it has become a favorite snack? Sauteed as part of the 'trinity' its importance is crucial. Of late, its clean, crisp taste seems milder than I recall when presented with a celery stick stuffed with pimento cheese in grade school.
I've always loved its cold, crisp snap as an compliment to hot wings.
Now? Its a terrific snack without the strong, offensive taste I recall as a youth. Perhaps a lighter variety is now produced & marketed; whatever, it is enjoyed now and good for me!
